Slator Ranch is a family owned Texas Century Heritage Award winning ranch under continuous operation since 1903.  Situated in central Llano County on the south bank of the Llano River, deep in the heart of Texas and the Hill Country, we are the third and fourth generations to live on and work the ranch.

Always progressive in land conservation and wildlife operation, the Slator Ranch has been honored with many prestigious awards: Texas Wildlife Association Land Stewardship Award, Regional and District Soil and Water Conservations awards, Texas Parks and Wildlife Habitat Management Award, and Llano County Agricultural Producer of the Year.

Slator Ranch takes a sustainable, holistic approach to its White-tailed deer & wildlife hunting operations and Akaushi cattle production.  Under the direct instruction of Bud Williams, we incorporate low-stress humane animal handling techniques in all aspects of our cattle operations. Our cattle are raised all natural, hormone and antibiotic free, and monitored from birth by our on-site family veterinarian.
